What do we stand for

ETC Advisory Group has the purpose to make and keep the countryside liveable. To get there, ETC Advisory Group likes to help citizens, farmers and the government with solving their problems and building a bridge between policy and practice. The rules from the government are known by ETC Advisory Group, moreover, they know what is going on at the countryside. ETC Advisory Group can give a contribution for sustainable acting of citizens, enterprises and the government. An interaction has to be caused among the stakeholders with sustainable acting, which is stimulating as well as inspiring.

People are responsible for changes in the environment and need to have consideration for fellow-man and nature. This is the view taking by ETC Advisory Group. Helping people knowing how to manage with advisable and sustainable possibilities presenting by the environment, is our pursuit. Overcoming obstacles; searching for ways to come out of impasse; looking together with citizens and the government for a beautiful future. Citizens know the strong and weak points of the environment and know how to deal with it like specialists.

What do we want to achieve

Sustainable entrepreneurship, sustainable management and sustainable operating: everyone is talking about sustainability. However, ETC wants to go a step further and will setup tangible sustainable projects with you.
We all know that a visit to the countryside is good for us and so we must do everything we can to preserve the rural landscape that has remained. ETC wants to make a clear contribution to this. For example, by stimulating recreation in areas where farmers cannot make a viable living by farming alone. Or by finding ways for livestock farmers to carry on farming in a profitable but sustainable manner.

ETC Advisory Group understands the issues facting rural areas and has a thorough knowledge of the relevant government legislation. ETC wants to use this knowledge to help local people and government bodies to solve problems together. The challenges faced by rural areas in the Netherlands are similar to those in other countries and so ETC Advisory Group is also active at an international level.
